My art focuses on the natural beauty that captivates people who  either live in or visit the Southwest, especially New Mexico.  Through watercolor and encaustic mediums, I express the magic that I see in the landscapes, skyscapes and architecture.  With the light, colors and shapes inspiring me, I may choose to paint in a loose realistic, representational or abstract style.  Regardless of the painting's subject, medium and style, my intention is always to have the viewer connect with the Southwest's beauty.
